Drive across the river to Covington or Newport, KY. It's simply amazing that the bosses of Cincinnati have been able to turn the city into a fundamentalist Christian theocracy and managed to ignore the Constitution and the rights and freedoms of it's citizens.

A reader in Cincinnati writes:

To give you some idea of what it is like here, someone bitched about the Cosmopolitan magazine covers at Kroger's, our local grocer responsible for putting us near the top as far as obesity. All racks that sell Cosmos now have a plastic blinder covering all but the title lest someone be offended by cleavage.

Probably the best story is that of a stripper from here back in the mid 90's when the club that is now Deja Vu first opened. According to the dancer whom I knew personally, there was no contact. According to the Cincinnati Enquirer, a patron touched her butt during a private dance and then tipped her. She was spotted by an undercover deputy and arrested on a charge of prostitution, led out in handcuffs, and had her name paraded out not only in the paper but on all 4 channels of evening news. The best comment over the whole affair was from Phil Burress, former whack-off addict and currently the lead brown shirt of Citizens for Community Values, our local moral crusaders: "we told you having a strip club would lead to increased crime". - Name Withheld

Hopefully the courts had the good sense to toss the case you referenced and reprimand the police.
