12/07 Saturday at 9p.m. there were more bouncers then dancers. Stayed for one hour and only saw 6 girls. Not the cleanest place and drinks were slow. Years ago this was the best around and has now really fallen downhill.

01/05 This place is an incredible ho-hum. $2 to park, $10 to get in, and about the only thing you're motivated to tip the girls for is their ability to stifle their yawns while they dance. They should re-name the place "Cellulite on Parade." This is the typical format of one dance in lingerie or clubwear, and one dance with less, and less is not much less. The pasties are simply ridiculous. Some of the girls were wearing thongs -- you could see the tops peaking out over their bikini-bottoms or hotpants or granny-panties. There was nothing even vaguely erotic about the dancing. The evening amounted to a handful of girls going through the motions and striking an occasional pose. Out of the 6 girls we tolerated, one was close to attractive. When they had the hourly meat parade to try to generate some interest in the $20 lapdances / $50 private dances, the girls looked cranky and bored. This place is nothing more than an attempt to separate you from you money with the absolute minimum return. If you need a thrill, you'll have a way better time looking at the mannequins at Victoria's Secret. -- JNS

04/08 Had a good time. Plenty of different ladies to choose from. $10 to get in Mon-Thurs and all domestic beer is 50 cents. Ladies had good personalities and it showed. The bouncers seem to be the only negative this club has. Would definitely go back.
12/07 $10 cover charge, but all domestics only a dollar. Bouncers were professional and the place was clean. Array of girls to choose from and when enough people got there they had three stages with a girl on each. Always has been a great place to go. Still a great all around place to go regardless of the occasion.
08/07 I went to this place last year for a bachelor party. There were almost no girls, a $10.00 cover and the rudest bouncers you have ever seen. The bouncers were herding the patrons around like cattle and had a freaking rule from how you placed your beer or where you walked. It was horrible. A group of 15 of us ended up leaving within 20 minutes. We went across the street to Club O. It was much better but not a stellar night of stripping either.
I went to this place once or twice prior and it was ok because the beer prices were low and there were plenty of girls. It pains me to fail any place where they show boobs but I must give this place an F until it is proven a worthy place to return and it won't happen on my dollar.
Other have given the club good reports so this is very strange. One to wonders if this was an isolated event or if the group was rowdy. Like to hear from others.-- WOM

11/05 This place is truly a disgrace. The girls are not attractive and this place gives strip clubs a bad name. The bartender is a bi***. Everything that was said in the previous rating was true. So WOM give them a brake. This place really does there lap dances in the back on two ripped up old couches. The girls are ugly and have serious attitude problems. There house on the weekdays are 25 bucks and 50 on the weekends so tell me how much revenue and business do they really have there? The bartender that was good looking and the good looking girls that were there smartened up.

10/05 This place is a joke. The owners are always high on something and it isn't life. The private dances are on old torn up couches in the back. The girls are ugly as sin. The Wize Old Man is always a bit skeptical when he gets a review that is either extremely good or extremely bad. In this case, the reviewer entered an incorrect phone number, a bad web address and didn't indicate if the club was on North or South 5th Ave. Then they rated the club as Couple Friendly but gave the club only a 1 star rating so he's saying the club is dive but it's friendly to your wife or girlfriend. 11/05 This is a great club especially for it's small town location. Newly remodeled very nice place. Located 5 miles north of Bloomington on I-39, Easy to get to. The cover is $5, dances are a little expensive, $30 per song but you can touch the girls (no titties or kitty) They do have a 2 for 1 a couple of times per night. Also have private 1/2 hour for $150. The girls are friendly, most are good looking. Very friendly to couples, girls are often invited up on stage if they go up to tip the dancers. Have good food available. Very comfortable atmosphere, most of the time you won't notice the bouncers. Great place for a no hassle time with some hot naked girls.

03/06 As a woman, I can tell you it is not a whorehouse, what so ever. You can't touch anything but the waist, you can't use cell phones on the floor, you can't pass a number w/o being escorted out and/or the ladies losing their jobs, you have to leave the premises before any of the dancers leave, if you are talking to long to one of them a bouncer will come and check. Plus, I've been to other strip clubs and one thing I see with the ladies there, who are Black, White, and Latina, they have a hell of a lot more personality than these women at the higher priced clubs. Their bodies are naturally beautiful, not enhanced. Better on stage personality. I was so bored at the high priced strip clubs because it was as clear as the nose on your face that those ladies did not want to be there. At Cowboys, some of them aren't making it a career but they were there to dance and provide a good time and that's what they did. I would pay $10 to go there than pay twice the amount to go to any of the higher priced clubs ever again.

While it's possible, the WOM has doubts. It's just so hard to get away with running a whore house outside of Nevada for any extended period of time under any circumstances. Cowboys has been there over a year. It's particularly hard if you serve alcohol because there is a whole other level of LE to worry about. - WOM

Until someone else verifies that Aghas Pizza has become Cowboys strip club, or the WOM gets around to calling, you shouldn't rely on this listing. 02/08 I have to say that this club is a rip-off. Most of the dancers are not even that attractive, lots of cellulite and bored girls. I came in on three separate occasions and there was maybe 10 people in the club, and this was around 12 pm on a weekend too. The club itself looks dirty and the drinks are priced too high. Champagne rooms have no champagne, but the girls will work to keep you happy at almost any means. Would not bring my friends here.

I do hope it's under construction and the web designer is only trying to show the owners a rough layout. 08/07 Saw a negative review of this place and wanted to set the record straight. The place is slightly high for drinks. The dancers are friendly but you kind of need to get to know them before they really relax. It is in a semi neighborhood bar but getting better. There is no cover. Dances are $20.00 and I guess it will depend on the dancer if you like the dance or not. For a local place it is about as good as it gets. Compared to Tijuana or Montreal clubs it blows.

09/05 Diamond Cabaret was renovated and reopened as the Penthouse Club. What was previously my favorite strip club in the St. Louis area became even better. I challenge anyone to find a classier place in the entire Midwest. This is the closest you'll get to a Vegas club in a several hundred mile radius. The best part is when a major sporting event lets out and the place gets crowded with guys who bring their wives/girlfriends. Sometimes, these girls get up enough courage to get a dance or get pulled up onto the stage for a quick romp with the dancer. There's nothing cooler than that in my book.

05/05 This club is awesome. My friend took me there on my way home from Chicago. The girls are very cute. They give excellent dances and they have an audience participation time where the girls come and rub there butts on your nut sack for a dollar. On Thursdays they have 10 cent draft night the admission is 10 dollars on that night but it is well worth it. This is someplace every one should visit if they are in the area.

12/07 Here's why there is confusion. Lovejoy and Brooklyn are the same! Lovejoy high school is located in Brooklyn. One is a township(unincorporated) the other is a town. They border East St Louis. A lot of fun but you have to be careful, this is not a very good area.

It's a rough area. There are two burned out former clubs, one in PT's parking lot and one across the street. They've been that way for a year or two. I think things moved around a bit a while back. Maybe a little friendly rivalry? (More likely locals who object to the clubs being there. -- WOM) The little triangle (PT's, Roxy's, Bottom's Up) isn't too bad, decent security, but you don't want to go on the wrong side of 4th St if you can help it. Lot of unfriendly looking folks, especially after dark. 410 Madison is on the wrong side of 4th.
The name of the area is weird too. St Clair, Lovejoy, East St Louis, Brooklyn, all seem to be the same place. E St Louis is the most consistent.
PT's is very nice. I was stunned. The neighborhood is rough and Roxy's and Bottoms Up are sleazy, you'd expect the same of PT's. Girls transfer between Roxy's and PT's, sometimes in the same night. The girls think going over to PT's is a step up. Lot's of neon, glitz, and well maintained. Sometimes I like the pretty place, some evenings I spend in Roxy's, a bit more... exotic. More tattoos, pins.
Stage rails are where the fun's at for me. Sit at the rail, throw a dollar on the stage and the ladies come over and take you by the hand and help you explore their "allowed areas". One certain area is not allowed (Yes, you guessed it) but nothing else is. Never had that anywhere else, seems a Brooklyn thing. Bring a bunch of bucks.

● 05/06 The Pink Slip is the nicest black strip club in St. Louis yes it may not be in the nicest area but there are 4 other clubs surrounding the club and they all receive business. The girls are also way above average and there is a wide variety from petite to very thick girls. It is a nice club over all cause you can drink, eat, and have some fun in one spot.

PT's website lists the address as being 410. Tried calling their info hotline but it was answered by a fax machine. PT's also lists the club as being in Brooklyn where Google says Lovejoy. For both 210 and 410 Madison St., Google actually points to Washington St. so go Brooklyn's in Illinois and no Madison St. in either in Lovejoy or East St. Louis. Maps.Yahoo.com does point to the correct location for both 210 and 410 If I look at the satellite view of both addresses (on Google), either one could be the location.
Knowing how wrong most websites are, you're correct that it's actually 210 Madison. Maybe you should tell PT's to fix there web site.
